Hankin Group has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor from The Philadelphia Inquirer. The honor is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization. For over a decade, the Top Workplaces honor has recognized companies for their commitment to employee satisfaction and helped companies stand out among competitors to attract talent.
Carolyn Van Fleet, Human Resources Director, commented on this accomplishment, “Hankin Group is honored to be recognized for their efforts to create a productive and positive environment. We strive to provide employees with meaningful work, solid benefits, and a sense of community. Earning this coveted designation as a 2020 Top Workplace signifies us as an organization committed to developing and sustaining a culture that supports, promotes, and values its employees. We are pleased to be recognized for our efforts and would like to thank our employees for their participation in the survey process.” This is the second year in a row that Hankin Group has been named a Top Workplace. In addition to this award, Hankin Group has also been recognized numerous times in the past year for excellence in property management, multi-family living, and employee achievement.
Stacy Martin has been elected as President for the PA/NJ/DE Chapter of the CCIM for 2020, making her the first female President of this Chapter since its inception in 1979. Michael Hankin, COO of Hankin Group commented, “Hankin Group is thrilled to have our own Stacy Martin elected as the next CCIM president. Stacy is a proven industry leader and her knowledge and experience will greatly benefit CCIM.”
CCIM is an earned designation that stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis, with less than one percent of commercial real estate professionals holding this prestigious designation. This global organization boasts 50 chapters and 13,000 members in 30 countries, representing a projected $400 billion in closed transactions annually.
Martin has been with Hankin for 18 years. As Director of Commercial Sales and Leasing for Hankin Group, she oversees over 1,500,000 sq. ft. of real estate. Additionally, Martin is on several other boards, including Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (Executive Board, 7 years), Downingtown Area STEM Academy Advisory Board (7 years), i2n Board (8 years), and the CCIM Board (2 years, 2019 – VP & 2020, President). Formerly, Stacy has served on the Chester County Economic Development Council Board (6 years) and the CII Council Board.
Last week, Hankin Group received the 2019 West Whiteland Township Historic Preservation Award. This honor recognized Hankin’s restoration of Ivy Cottage, which is located on West Lincoln Highway, adjacent to the company’s Keva Flats apartment community. Hankin Group restored the cottage, originally built in 1799 by the Thomas Family, and converted the space into two apartments. The residential building is now referred to as The Chandler House, a homage to the name of the family that most recently resided in the notable household. Hankin Group credits Robert Powers & Associates for helping to maintain the historical integrity of the home, Al Walton and his team for insuring the flawless execution of the construction, Laura Maiale for her work on the stunning residential design, and the entire team at Hankin Group for their support and excitement about this unique project.
Exton, PA— September 24, 2019 — Eagleview Town Center’s popular event is back! Join a multitude of performing groups and crafters Sunday, October 6th for Falling Leaf Fest. The event is a day full of games, food, entertainment, and fun. Eagleview Town Center has also teamed up with Cure4Cam Childhood Cancer Foundation.
Regina Evans, co-founder of Cure4Cam, discusses the mission of their foundation, “We founded Cure4Cam to help with funding for childhood cancer research. When our son, Cameron, was being treated, we saw multiple adverse effects of current treatment on him and other patients. Although he did have a very aggressive form of leukemia, damage to his organs from the current therapies contributed to his ultimate passing. Cure4Cam’s mission is to help fund more targeted therapies which affect the cancer but not other cells in the body.” She also reflects on the history of this race, explaining, “Pedal4Cam, now in its 5th year, was started by a supporter who is an avid cyclist in order to reach out to a different group of people who were looking to support our charity in something other than a running race. Last year we added a 2 mile charity walk to again try to broaden the event.” The Ride ‘n’ Stride kicks off the event and check-in begins at 7:30AM.
After the Ride ‘n’ Stride, performances start promptly at 11:00AM. Over 45 crafters and performing groups will be in attendance. Restaurant Row, home to Al Pastor, Brickside, Bluefin Eagleview, Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden, and Brightspot Café, will also be open. To learn more about this event, go to the Falling Leaf Fest and Pedal4Cam event pages on Facebook or email events@hankingroup.com.
