Hankin Group has completed construction of an expansion of the walking trail network.
The new path, which connects Pennsylvania Avenue to the community’s social hub, Eagleview Town Center, is now open to the public.
“This new trail improves connectivity of Eagleview’s already-extensive pedestrian network linking the commercial and residential communities to Town Center,” said Lance Hillegas, Hankin Group’s Vice President of Design and Sustainable Development.
Eagleview, a mixed-use community in Exton that boasts a variety of opportunity across 800 acres of land, has an extensive network of trails for its 4,000 residents and 6,000 employees.
Since 2013, community members have enjoyed 10 miles of trails among beautiful, landscaped parks throughout the development.

Hankin Apartments, an Exton-based property management company and a division of the Hankin Group, ranks third among the 2022 Best Places to Work in Multifamily, an awards program produced by Multifamily Leadership that is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the industry’s best employers.
The rigorous assessment process evaluated each company’s employee policies and procedures, as well as responses from employees. The program is part of a long-term initiative to encourage growth and excellence throughout the industry.
This is Hankin’s fourth consecutive year making the list and highest ranking ever.
“Being a part of Best Places to Work in Multifamily means so much to us because essentially it is all about providing our teams with everything they need to be successful and creating a vibrant culture in which to work,” said Becky Reeves, Vice President of Hankin Apartments. “We value every one of our team members and are proud to make the list again this year.”
Hankin Apartments also placed third among the 2022 Best Places to Work in Multifamily for Women.
The honors round out an award-winning year for Hankin Apartments. Claremont on the Square Apartments placed among the Top 10 in the state for their ORA (online reputation assessment) ranking developed by J Turner Research. Meridian at Eagleview, meanwhile, placed ninth in the SatisFacts epIQ Index, with nine other Hankin Apartments communities making the list. In September, Hankin Apartments took home the Management Company of the Year Award — as well as awards in leasing excellence, maintenance, overall community excellence, and more — at the Pennsylvania Apartment Association’s Best of Apartment Living Awards.
Hankin Apartments’ newest project, 44 luxury apartments at Claremont on the Square, is set to open in the spring.
EXTON, PA — Exton’s Eagleview is expanding to bring a new trail to its pedestrian path network.
In the midst of Eagleview, a mixed-use community in Exton that boasts opportunity across 800 acres of land, there is an extensive network of trails for its 4,000 residents and 6,000 employees. Hankin Group recently announced its plans to expand the community with a new path set to begin construction later this week.
Since 2013, community members have enjoyed ten miles of trails among beautiful, landscaped parks over the Eagleview development. “This new trail will improve connectivity of Eagleview’s already extensive pedestrian network linking the commercial and residential communities to Town Center,” said Lance Hillegas, Hankin Group’s VP of Design and Sustainable Development.
“The miles of pedestrian trails and sidewalks in Eagleview connect to the surrounding communities, retail-commercial areas, and to the greater trail network in Chester County,” said Hillegas. “Eagleview’s trails connect to Hickory Park athletic fields, Marsh Creek State Park, and Uwchlan and Struble trails.”
Hankin’s urbanism approach and emphasis on sustainability is evident through many of its projects. One of the most anticipated developments for the company is River Station, a transit-oriented community in the borough of Downingtown. The property is situated along 68 acres along the Brandywine Creek and will create a link between Struble trail, Chester Valley trail and the East Branch Brandywine Trail.
Eagleview’s first phase of trail expansion is set to be completed by end of the year and will be open to the public soon thereafter, the company said.

Hankin Group is a full-service real estate company that designs, develops, and manages commercial and residential properties. After many years spent developing a well-respected presence in their space, it was time their original brand and website caught up with their impeccable reputation. We partnered with Hankin’s team to learn exactly why their audiences loved them, and turned that research into a brand identity and website that felt as warm and confident as the communities they create.
Great Brands Start With Great Strategy
We executed a research plan including a competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, and a number of surveys to learn about Hankin Group’s situation from all angles. By looking at the challenge from multiple perspectives, we were able to create a proverbial 3D model of what Hankin’s brand was, and better project what it should be to meet their goals.
Leading With the Brand Story
Our research helped us identify what was at the core of Hankin Group’s brand: the art of building enduring communities. This theme became the foundation on which we developed Hankin’s brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. Regardless of whether Hankin has their B2B or B2C hat on, their story is one that will stick.
A Natural and Welcome Evolution
Hankin Group’s former logo carried with it equity and recognition. Still, it was dated: a mark that didn’t reflect the brand’s current vision. Rather than design a new logo from scratch, we opted for an evolutionary approach. This tack let us maintain the existing equity in Hankin’s visual identity while giving us the flexibility to modernize the brand.
Real-Life Architecture Made Stronger by Brand Architecture
We created several versions of the logo design, resulting in distinctive brand identities for each division, including Hankin Construction, Hankin Property Management, and Hankin Apartments.
Using a Strong Brand to Create a Stronger Website
We planned, designed, and developed Hankin Group’s new website using their revitalized brand identity as the foundation. More than just a visual refresh, Hankin’s new site creates clearer pathways for their various audiences to find and engage with relevant content. At the end of the day, websites are tools to achieve a business goal—this one just happens to excel in both form and function.
Built for Impact
When the the new Hankin Group website went live, it immediately went to work to help them achieve their business goals. With more people visiting, clicking, and contacting the firm, we can confidently call this site a success.
