Eagleview-based Bentley Systems acquired the 3-D animation firm e-on software, which worked on films like Avatar, The Hunger Games and Minions.
Bentley Systems, an infrastructure software firm, will use e-on’s technology to provide vivid glimpses into its projects.
“With our acquisition of e-on software, reality modeling for architects and engineers to capture existing conditions and provide context for proposed infrastructure designs can now be enlivened with digital nature,” Bentley Systems CEO Greg Bentley said in a statement.
